Манастир Покајница, првобитно подигнут као црква брвнара у близини Велике Плане, представљен је на платформи Google Arts & Culture, у оквиру промоције културног наслеђа Србије.Цркву посвећену преносу моштију Светог Николе, подигао је 1818. године војсковођа и народни старешина Вујица Вулићевић у близини места на којем је учествовао у убиству свог кума, вође Првог српског устанка вожда Ђорђа Петровића Карађорђа. Непосредно по убиству Вујица Вулићевић се суочио са својом савешћу и тежином учињеног злочина и одлучио да подигне цркву и окаје своје грехе. У томе су му подршку пружили кнегиња Љубица и њен муж, кнез Милош, који је одобрио да се 4000 дуката пронађених код Карађорђа искористи за градњу. Мада је црква званично названа Великопланска, народ ју је, у знак сећања на покајање Вујице Вулићевића, назвао Покајница.
