U Paštriću nalazi se Crkva apostola Petra i Pavla, koja je podignuta na temeljima drevnog manastira Ribnica, koji je bio zadužbina braće Jovanovića iz Tolića. Kako se nalazi u klisuri Ribnice, pred ribničkom pećinom i na desnoj obali istoimene reke poznata je i kao Ribnička crkva.Manastir je sagrađen u vreme Nemanjića i dugo je bio jedan od centara duhovnosti i prosvetiteljstva valjevskog kraja. Imao je bogatu biblioteku i sopstveni vodovod. Turci su ga tri puta palili, pa je dosta vrednih stvari uništeno. Stari ikonostas sa ikonama iz 18. veka premešten je u crkvu brvnaru u Planinici.Najstariji pomen ribničkog manastira, pretvorenog 1837. godine u mirsku crkvu potiče iz 1657. godine, kada se pominje i ribnički iguman Avakum. Akademik Milan Đ. Milićević, zabeležio je da se on pominje još 1518. godine, verujući zapisu pronađenom u priprati gde stoji da su crkvu podigla braća Savko i Radul. Za vreme Kočine krajine crkva je spaljena, da bi tokom 19. veka više puta obnavljana. Jedan od njenih ktitora bio je kolubarski knez Raka Tešić iz Mionice. Za njenu obnovu iz 1823. godine zaslužan je knez Jovica Milutinović iz Sankovića.Sadašnja crkva građena je opekom 1909. godine u srpsko-vizantijskomn stilu, po projektu arhitekte Svetozara Ivačkovića. Osnova je upisanog grčkog krsta sa prostranom oltarskom apsidom, spolja trostranom, a iznutra polukružnom i naglašenim prostorom za đakonikon i proskomidiju. Na zapadnoj strani je nesrazmerno mala priprata sa dve niše od kojih je u jednoj smešteno stepenište kružne osnove koje vodi na galeriju. U originalnoj verziji crkva je imala kupolu. Glavni portal je naglašen tremom sa dva stuba spojena lukom. Dekoracija fasade izvedena je naizmenično horizontalnim trakama crvene i žute boje. Srednje je veličine i ukrašena lepim ikonama.Njen ikonostas slikao je Kosta Josipović, poznati slikar i hrabri ratnik iz Beograda, a drvoreze je uradio Bogoljub Belić. Iako je prošlo više od veka o autoru tog ikonostasa još uvek se malo zna. Tokom 1909. i 1910. godine slikao je ikonostas Crkve apostola Petra i Pavla u Paštriću. Tih godina naslikao je i nekoliko pejzaža među kojima su najpoznatiji Ribnička pećina i Park koje je izlagao na IV izložbi Lade u Beogradu. Aleksa Šantić napisao je pesmu sa istim nazivom, možda inspirisanu delom ikonostasa Koste Josipovića manastira Ribnica.
